The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it is actually alarmed in regards to the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the SRD area daily. The company point established for intervention activities a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
